Reverse Osmosis

If you have a membrane washing program that removes the salts from the feed water that have formed deposits on the membrane, you can use the reverse osmosis system with its maximum efficiency. Our solutions for membrane treatment include the use of antifouling to prevent biological growth and organic fouling, and to increase the time between chemical washes and improve performance. The formation of sediment will increase the pressure to produce pure water.

Industrial reverse osmosis (RO) systems can treat almost any incoming water as long as water quality guidelines are met. Good pretreatment is necessary to remove substances such as suspended solids, colloidal materials, metals, and other contaminants, as well as to keep the RO system functioning well. Pressure tanks charged with various types of filters are used to remove suspended solids and other unwanted materials from wastewater. The type of filter you need depends on what you want to remove.

DTA Series has a new solution to prevent the formation of microbiological growth on RO membranes using an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide.
